Optical and UV spectrophotometric data of the nebula and the central star of the planetary nebula ESO 166−PN 21 are presented. The analysis of the nebular lines confirms that it is a Heand N-rich PN, with He/H = 0.138 ± 0.005 and N/O = 0.58 ± 0.08. The oxygen abundance is 12 + log O/H = 8.60 ± 0.10.
